Welcome to BodyKode: A Different Way to Understand Your Health

Don't you sometimes get the impression that something about your body is just… wrong?

Even if you've been sleeping, you might still be feeling tired. Your digestion is different now. Your hormones seem unpredictable. After eating you become swollen, have trouble with your energy, find it more difficult to cope with stress, or just don't feel like yourself anymore.

You may have been told that your blood tests are normal. You may have tried changing your diet, taking supplements or following advice online, only to find yourself wondering what you actually need.

This is exactly why I created BodyKode.

BodyKode is a space for looking at your health as a whole - your nutrition, symptoms, lifestyle, stress, sleep, hormones, digestion and health history rather than viewing each concern in isolation.

Before we decide what to change, we need to understand you.

Why I created BodyKode

I’m Kasia Wheeler, a naturopathic nutrition practitioner with a particular interest in women’s health, hormones, gut health and systemic kinesiology.

My approach to health has developed from a simple observation: two people can experience the same symptom for very different reasons.

Bloating, for example, isn't a diagnosis. Neither is fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog or feeling unusually irritable before your period. These are experiences that can have many possible contributing factors.

Nutrition may play a role. So might stress, sleep, medications, hormonal changes, digestive health, nutrient intake, blood sugar regulation or simply the demands of everyday life.

That means there isn't one diet, supplement or wellness routine that is right for everybody.

At BodyKode, we start by looking at the bigger picture.

Your body isn't a collection of separate parts.

One of the principles behind BodyKode is that the systems of the body constantly interact.

Sleep can influence appetite and energy. Stress can affect digestion. What and when we eat can influence blood glucose and how energised we feel. Hormonal changes can affect everything from sleep and mood to appetite and bowel habits.

This doesn't mean that every symptom has a hidden "root cause" waiting to be discovered. Human biology is far more complex than that.

But it does mean that context matters.

Rather than immediately asking, "What supplement should I take for this?", I prefer to start with:

"What might be contributing to this, and what does the rest of your health tell us?"

That small change in thinking is at the heart of BodyKode.

Understanding you, before anything else

Your first consultation isn't simply a conversation about what is wrong.

It's an opportunity for me to understand what has been happening around the symptoms too.

We explore your health history, nutrition, digestion, sleep, stress, energy, lifestyle, environment and, where relevant, menstrual cycle and hormonal patterns.

Sometimes connections become clearer simply by putting all of that information in one place.

From there, we can begin creating a personalised plan that feels realistic for your life.

And I mean your real life.

Not a perfect morning routine that starts at 5am. Not a cupboard full of supplements. Not a restrictive diet that becomes impossible to maintain.

Food, movement, sleep, stress management and small daily habits can be incredibly powerful when they're chosen for the right person and made sustainable.

Food first, supplements where they make sense

Nutrition forms a central part of my work.

Food provides far more than calories. It supplies protein, fats, carbohydrates, fibre, vitamins, minerals and thousands of naturally occurring compounds that our bodies use every day.

So rather than beginning with a long supplement list, I generally want to understand what is happening with your food first.

Are you eating enough protein?

How varied is your diet?

Are you eating regularly?

Could your current way of eating be contributing to energy fluctuations or digestive symptoms?

Are there foods you've unnecessarily removed because you've been told they're "bad for hormones" or "inflammatory"?

From there, supplements can be considered where they genuinely add value.

I've also created carefully selected BodyKode supplement stacks for areas including gut health, digestion, sleep, stress, memory and hormonal support. These are intended to make choosing supplements simpler - not to replace a varied diet, medical care or individual assessment.

Testing - when it adds clarity

Not everyone needs laboratory testing.

In fact, I don't believe in testing simply for the sake of having more data.

Where a deeper investigation could be useful, however, I may discuss appropriate testing options with you and explain what information they may and equally importantly, may not, provide.

BodyKode works with established testing providers including Genova Diagnostics, GUTID and CNS Lab.

The purpose isn't to chase numbers on a laboratory report. It's to use appropriate information alongside your symptoms, health history and circumstances to help inform the next step.

Where systemic kinesiology fits in

BodyKode also brings together nutritional practice with systemic kinesiology.

Kinesiology is a complementary practice that uses muscle testing within a broader assessment. I use it as part of a naturopathic approach rather than as a replacement for medical diagnosis or laboratory testing.

This distinction matters to me.

There is value in traditional and complementary approaches, but there should also be honesty about where scientific evidence is established and where a method sits outside conventional diagnostic medicine.

My aim with BodyKode is to create space for both: respect for traditional approaches alongside modern nutrition science and responsible healthcare.

The Decode Protocol

For some people, one consultation is exactly what they need.

For others, meaningful change needs more time.

That's why I created The Decode Protocol  a more structured way of working together that gives us the opportunity to observe patterns, make changes and then review how your body responds.

Rather than handing you a plan and sending you away to figure it out alone, we continue to check in.

Your protocol can include personalised nutrition, lifestyle guidance and practical daily steps, with guided reviews along the way.

Because what looks right on paper doesn't always work perfectly in real life.

Sometimes we adjust.

Sometimes we simplify.

Sometimes your response tells us that we need to look somewhere else.

That process is part of personalised care.

Support shouldn't stop when the consultation ends

One thing I particularly wanted BodyKode to offer was continuity.

All BodyKode clients are onboarded onto Nurish.life, which allows you to follow your plan, record relevant information and track patterns between appointments.

It gives us something much more useful than trying to remember how you felt three weeks ago.

Did your bloating actually improve?

How consistently were you eating breakfast?

What happened to your energy?

Did your symptoms change at a particular point in your menstrual cycle?

Patterns become much easier to recognise when we can see them.

A place to learn

BodyKode isn't only about consultations.

I want this website to become a trusted place you can come when you want to understand something about your health without being frightened by what you read or promised a miracle solution.

Here on the BodyKode Blog, I'll be exploring subjects including women's hormones, menstrual health, perimenopause, gut health, bloating, digestion, stress, sleep, nutrition, blood sugar, supplements and some of the emerging areas of nutritional science.

I'll also talk about the naturopathic and complementary approaches I use in practice while being clear about what we know, what we're still learning and where the evidence is limited.

There is already enough confusing health information online.

I don't want BodyKode to add to it.

When symptoms need medical attention

Nutritional and complementary support should work alongside appropriate healthcare, not replace it.

New, persistent, severe or unexplained symptoms should always be discussed with your GP or another suitably qualified healthcare professional. The same applies if symptoms suddenly change, worsen or concern you.

Part of responsible practice is recognising when something needs investigation outside my scope.

Begin with a conversation.

If you'd like to find out whether BodyKode is right for you, you can book a free 15-minute discovery call with me.

We'll briefly talk about what's been going on, what you'd like support with and which BodyKode service may be most appropriate, whether that's an initial consultation, ongoing nutritional support, The Decode Protocol or further investigation where appropriate.
